I'll second that! I like all your suggestions so far, Mitch. So who do you see as Kolabati?

I'm not familiar with any Indian actresses, and I think it's important for the part. Maybe they should go with an unkown. I think Jackie Mason would make a good Abe, or maybe Danny Aiello if he can pull off a Jewish accent.

More good choices! Apropos of nearly nothing, my ex-husband chose Jackie Mason as the entertainment for his Bar Mitzvah. That was back in 1964, but I thought it was an inspired choice, though many of his family members weren't quite sure. Howie (my ex) has always marched to his own drummer.Big Grin

Mason or Aiello (playing Jewish) could do Abe.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I like Nathan Fillion as Jack. I was thinking Steven Weber, but I like Fillion better. He was also on a recent episode of Lost.

I'm not a big fan of Maria Bello. I liked Elizibeth Mitchell as the choice for Gia. She plays Julliet on Lost, and I think she's hot.

Naveen Andrews good choice for Kusun. Oded Fehr could also do it.

I've never seen Lost. The only thing I've actually seen Elizabeth Mitchell in was THE SANTA CLAUSE 2. She played "Mrs. Clause."

In movies, it's not so much a matter of who could play the part well -- there are lots of actors and actresses who could do the parts justice -- but of which performers would be convincing when played with (or against) the other actors.

In my view -- if Nathan Fillion were to play Jack -- Elizabeth Mitchell would be best because I think she would fit well with Nathan as Jack. Someone Nathan-as-Jack would be in love with.

Oded Fehr looks a little young, but he looks right to me . . . good choice.

Oded Fehr would be a great choice

wish I could take credit for it, it was actually Gunslinger's suggestion. I still have to go with Naveen Andrews, but Oded is a great choice also.
