Lucky Number Slevin is a pretty entertaining movie. It's part scam, part comedic noir that tries a little too hard in a couple of patches, but is overall worth the rent. The solid cast delivers good performances; it was fun to see a lighter side Lucy Liu. Plus I noticed that it is now Sir Ben Kingsley, he must have been knighted recently.

One thing is for certain, I do not see Josh Hartnett as Jack. He wasn't bad in LNS, but I he doesn't have what it takes to pull RJ off.

Today I went to see "Lucky Number Seven".....Yes, Japanese title is "Seven", not "Slevin". Why seven? I don't know. Rolleyes

It was well made movie, and I enjoyed it. As Scott said, it reminded me of scam movie "The Sting", and best suspense movie "North by Northwest".

Wonderful acting by great actors, twisted story by well written script.....perfect! Especially, Ben Kingsley vs. Morgan Freeman, their "back to back" scenes were thrilling showdown!

I don't wanna admit it to myself, but I think Josh Hartnett showed good acting in this movie. Maybe, it's because of good script.

[SIZE="3"]I ran this last night. Very entertaining. Some nice twists. I thought it was heading for a bass-ackward Yojimbo (which would have been fun too) but it went in another direction.
