The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Speaking of the newsletter...

I got mine this afternoon and read this little item:
Quote:Let's skip to Frank Festa's party that night (Festa Verlag is one of my German publishers) where I learn that I love bratwurst.

Paul, are you saying you have been bratwurst-deprived all these years?! That's almost inconceivable to me. In Milwaukee, brats are one of the first solid foods a kid eats! Wink

What I found neato...........was that I received the newsletter at work. Ya, ya, ya.......cobalt was on the board at work, yet again. I didn't sign up for the newsletter at work........it just found me there. My copy was on my home computer as well. I'm amazed.

I don't remember ever having bratwurst -- or if I have, they weren't this good. Even the ones I bought on the street (sold like hot dogs) were fantastic.

If you'd like to get some really good, Old-World style brats here in the states, you can order online from Usinger's Sausage, traditional wurstmachers for over 100 years. Recipes and cooking tips on the web site too.

Yummy, yummy, yummy!

I agree here, I spent some time in Dresden and holy cow they didn't even compare to what I had had before. Making me crave them thinking about it.
