Scott Miller Wrote:HOLY SHIT! I just watched last week's episode this morning and it is definitely up there as one of the best ever. Christine is Trinity's daughter?! Dex can't kill him now, can he?!

I see Dex escaping family life by pushing Rita into Elliott's arms, but other than that I really don't have any idear as to how this one plays out.

Yeah that whole episode was intense lithgow(sp?) was great in it. Never crossed my mind with the daughter and different shooter that was insane.

I guessed that Trinity wasn't the shooter for the simple reason that they took such pains to not show who he was. The only thing that didn't make sense was if Trinity knew he'd been found why he would intentionally bump into Lundi and bring himself to the detective's attention and not put anything in motion to do anything about it. I thought he had someone shoot him.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

See I thought it was odd that they didn't show him, but I never really thought much of it. There was so much going on and was thinking it was a quick way to get Dexter after him. But I have been kind of dissapointed that it dropped the part about him killing an innocent man(which seemed to him a big deal) and the part about Deb's partner(blinking on his name right now) following him. Would he not think it odd the night before the guy dissapears he tailed Dexter to the same place he was at for seemingly no reason?

Yes on both counts, especially the second. Quinn wouldn't even raise an eyebrow, come on. I think Dex feels terrible about the innocent and there is more to come on that front but he is in hyperdrive with Trinity and hasn't had the time to ruminate on his mistake.

I thought that he trailed Dexter and didn't realize that guy was there. But then again, Dexter knew that guy was there because he went to those types of parties. Considering the guy didn't get yoinked that night and was reported as missing probably a decent amount of time later Quinn may not have put 2 and 2 together. Plus he's about to have a whole lot else on his mind.

I'll have to see the episode again but I thought when Quinn was lookin at Dexter he was looking for what he was watching. Not sure though.

Quinn is already suspicious of Dexter with the apartment and the fact that Dex knows he's dirty but won't take a payoff so seeing him in a club, any club, that late at night should be setting off all sorts of alarms.

Was thinking today after reading an article on this past episode of Dexter and was thinking about the past seasons and their finales. The past seasons have always ended basicly the same way Dexter wants to kill someone that the cops also wants to catch. Dexter ends up getting the kill and all danger for Dexter being exposed is gone. So far this season is setting up to be the same exact way so far which in my eyes would sort of be a crappy ending to what I think has been a great season.

A cool thought I had that would be really far fetched but would set up for a great season next year was what if Dexter kills Trinity but gets interrupted a little early on the clean up. Not to where he got caught but to where they find some of the body and most of the killing room there. In effect set up a whole season of them looking for the killer. One would think this would bring back up the bay harbor butcher case, and show that doakes wasnt the killer. It would also lead to major danger for Dexter as Quinn is now suspicious of him, it looks like in the season finale that Deb will start to get a picture of what Dex is and where he came from as well.

Sorry it's long but I would think it would be a great ending to the season and would be great for anticipation for next season. What do you fellow Dexter fans think? And correct me if im wrong but is next season the last season they Showtime has baught the show for? This could also set up for a nice final season.

WOW! When it got to the end I thought it was going to be a let down but wow. I'm just speechless. I somewhat have wanted that to happen all season but even when it happens I am still just in shock. I don't have any idea what this can set up for next season but I will without a doubt be on the edge of my seat waiting for it.

I thought the ending was good. I casually mentioned earlier in the show that (that) might happen. I also like that Deb now realizes (Spoiler Alert) .....

(Spoiler Alert)

....Dexter is the biological brother of the Ice Truck Killer.
