Was thinking today after reading an article on this past episode of Dexter and was thinking about the past seasons and their finales. The past seasons have always ended basicly the same way Dexter wants to kill someone that the cops also wants to catch. Dexter ends up getting the kill and all danger for Dexter being exposed is gone. So far this season is setting up to be the same exact way so far which in my eyes would sort of be a crappy ending to what I think has been a great season.
A cool thought I had that would be really far fetched but would set up for a great season next year was what if Dexter kills Trinity but gets interrupted a little early on the clean up. Not to where he got caught but to where they find some of the body and most of the killing room there. In effect set up a whole season of them looking for the killer. One would think this would bring back up the bay harbor butcher case, and show that doakes wasnt the killer. It would also lead to major danger for Dexter as Quinn is now suspicious of him, it looks like in the season finale that Deb will start to get a picture of what Dex is and where he came from as well.
Sorry it's long but I would think it would be a great ending to the season and would be great for anticipation for next season. What do you fellow Dexter fans think? And correct me if im wrong but is next season the last season they Showtime has baught the show for? This could also set up for a nice final season.
"Sanity? Worthless things like that, I never had them for as long as I can remember!"
