You can get the novel of Sims without any difficulty. There was a delay regarding the fourth and fifth installments of the CD serial, but the book has been available for about a year.

Cemetery Dance was publishing it in five serialized installments, the first three were published at least close to on time, but then...nothing. So then the whole thing was published as a novel and now finally the 4th and 5th installments are being published through CD. They are essentially the same story, I guess there are a few minor changes and the CD versions are have some illustrations in them. I know what you can get Jaybird for Christmas.
