Ahw, I think he's just runnin' scared. When they ARE out to get you, you're not paranoid at all. <glances over her shoulder at a creak in the floorboard> Poor Jack, no more coincidences for him, huh. Wink FPW, just how much time HAVE you been spending lurking around this poor guy's life? They do say truth is stranger than fiction, yes?

It's from the old board or older. Here is the reference:

It predates my discovery of the board and maybe even predates the board itself.

It predates this board. When Tony joined the old board many blue moons ago he suggested chatrooms were the way forward, the next couple of years were a blur, but these terms emerged.

As did the first GU (another idea of Tony's).

It's an acronym that Lisa and Tony made up. I remember what the BFOGG means, but I forget the FA.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

I remember it from the old board. I didn't get an answer when I asked then either.

Some things were never meant to be known or understood... It's kind of Lovecraftian in a sense.... Eldritch wizardry and unnameable horrors and all that.... Much like the IRS and the tax code

Jim sent me the meaning by PM -- as much as he knew of it.

Kinda cute, and not a big deal.
