These are good.

I liked Lord of the Rings; I've often thought similarly.

You missed Saving Private Ryan

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

From the dry climate that Iraq is purported to be to the dampness of Florida and Walt Disney World . . .

Man, I hope you can handle humidity better than I can.

As a friend of mine used to say, you're getting so short you can sit on a dime and swing your legs.

Yeah, sorry, was walking out the door as I posted them, a neat trick if you master it right (I'm still training, evidently).

Well, I won't be going to WDW until March so I'll be back in Germany until about Febuary time frame.

Yeah, I hate humidty, but after being in Kuwait for two weeks in July right next to the ocean (sea, gulf, whatever) I got used to humidty again. Imagine sitting there, 2 in the morning, temperature WITHOUT humidty still hovering around 100 degrees THEN add on the humidty!! We were literally just sitting there sweating our asses off! And that was at 2 am...the days were even worse!!

I hate humidty.
