Jim Caviezel as Jack....well, not bad. But I prefer Cole Hauser as Jack.

This is gonna sound stupid as all hell but lately I've been considering Justin Long (The kid in the Mac commercials as well as Dodgeball, Waiting, Jeepers Creepers) for the role of Jack. I think he could pull it off. He's likeable.

I will always refer to him as The Warren Cheswick Experience. Big Grin

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Good choice. I think Maggers would agree. Don't know about his age though.

Another possibility might be the Canadian actor Nathan Fillion. He played Malcolm Reynolds in SERENITY.

He definitely shows a good dark side and I understand he's done comedy as well.

No, it's not just you.

In GATEWAYS, He lowered the hand and thrust it toward Jack's sack of grenades. His voice was taut, strained."Give me one of those."

That's Clint Eastwood! Cool

That would be good.

Although not an actor, KRW's dad would make a good Tom, and Scott Miller's daughter Kayla would definitely make a good Vicky . . . if she wasn't a blonde.

Ken - who might make a good Abe if he put on about 70 pounds - V.
