Marc,

I placed my order. I had to dig into my retirement fund, which means, at the rate my fund is growing, I'll have to work an extra 5 years to replace it. Now I have to work until I'm 103. By then I'll be Dead in the Water.

Can't wait to see it.

Ron

You really only need three things: WD-40, Duct Tape, and a pointy stick. If it's supposed to move and doesn't, use the WD-40. If it moves and isn't supposed to, use the Duct Tape. If you want it to move and it doesn't want to, use the pointy stick. The rest of life is easy.

Awesome!!

I just ordered.

Hey, Marc, if I show this to friends, can I charge them if I give you a percentage of the proceeds? Wink

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

I just went to Amazon.com to try to preorder Dead in the water. As Marc said, it isn't there yet, but I'm checked anyway as if they would have it just for me. There is a DVD of same name starring Henry Thomas. Read Carefully before ordering or you'll have to go through the pesky return process.

Oh, I almost forgot, there is no cover photo shown.

BTW Marc, any word on the FPW 3-fer

There are two other Dead in the Water films out there. One, as you mentioned, stars Henry Thomas and was released in 2002. Another is coming out this year (supposedly) and is about a haunted boat in L.A. I'm not sure what their release schedule is.

If you want to play it safe and make sure you're getting the right film you can always visit the RPM Films site for direct links. We will be updating them as other stores carry the film.

It all depends on which way the wind blows. If we get a good deal with a distributor they will more then likely make it available through the typical retail and rental outlets. If there is no good offer then it becomes a little more difficult. I am in talks with a group of independent filmmakers to pool our resources and start our own distribution company so we can get into such places but that is still in the discussion phase.

I am also talking to a company that does digital rentals and purchases. You would be able to rent the film and download it to your computer to watch with an option to buy after. It's still preliminary so I'll make an announcement once that becomes available.
