Hi everyone. I'm new to this board...just found the site yesterday.

I only thought that there were three Repairman Jack novels...the three I have read:

THE TOMB
CONSPIRACIES
LEGACIES

Imagine my surpirse and excitment when I found out there was like ten!! Yesterday I orderd :
ALL THE RAGE
HOSTS
THE HAUNTED AIR

I can't wait till they come in! Is there somewhere were I can find out the order they are supposed to go in (if any) and if there is somewhere else on this board where I would get this question answered better that would be great.

Exploring the site more and can't wait to converse with all of you!!

Welcome to the board. Thanks for serving our country. I know that you'll love the formerly unknown RJ books. Keep your weapons clean and your canteen full.

:p A good horror story will keep you up at night

Stupid question time; I've read the rules and outline for the contest, but I can't seem to figure out what all is supposed to be included with the submission. Do we write up a character with a background for the problem or just a basic "My baby was dropped into Mel's Hole" Type of problem?

Mhm, if I understand you right, I would say: a character? You already have a character: Jack!

You have to write a story

"Dem ago call a war a holy war...but if a war is holy....what unholy stands for?

I mean the character that comes to Jack. Seems that we would need to give their background to be able to fully lay out their problem. But I don't want to be sending in some really long story if all that is wanted is a one liner.

Come up with a problem for Jack to fix. Whether you use a cut-and-dried or elaborate presentation is up to you.

To be a character in the next RJ novel, interact with RJ in the plot, and get killed off in an interesting way. If you pardon the pun, that's immortality and priceless! Big Grin
