Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I'm going to start publicizing this around 8/1 for the August push on the bargain-priced titles. If you're a regular here and want to enter, please get yourself an unrecognizable yahoo or hotmail name and enter under that. You're all bright folks and if you enter you might win. I don't want a cloud over the contest.

That sounds pretty damn fun. I haven't posted in awhile due to business, but I'm back.

Anyway, I'm definitely gonna enter.

Ditto that, Dave.
While $1000 would be nice, the real prize is the chance to have your idea incorporated into a book. And like you said, how could there be legal issues with that?

That must be it, they know every Englishman is related to Shakespeare and Dickens in some fashion.

I have a problem for Jack...

He wants to enter a competition being run by the publisher of his favourite author, but must prove his US citizenship. What does he do?

Dave
