webby Wrote:The best movie I've ever seen that completely pokes fun at most of these cliches is The Last Action Hero starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. You gotta see it if you haven't yet - or see it again if you have. It's a fun movie and I think it's really cool that Arnold made this movie, sort of a "kids-don't try this at home!" moral to it.
Cool I really like that movie. Another good one he made is "True Lies". He never takes himself too seriously like some of the others.

The only movies I recall that got that one right are The Lord Of The Rings series.

That's what I like about him. He knows he's not a good actor. How many actors/actresses do we have who think they're good, but are actually cartoonish?

Pretty much all of them in the classic "Action" genre. Stallone, Van Damme, Segall, etc. Rolleyes

In fact, within that specific group of actors, I'd say Arnold is the best.

Stallone and Seagal (and Chuck Norris) are supposedly nice guys. JCVD is purportedly an ASS!!

They probably are. They seem nice enough in interviews, anyway. But they still can't act very well. Wink

I love his slogans^^ Big Grin

"When Chuck Norris does push ups, he doesn't push himself up. He pushes down the earth!"

But, I would say, stallone, van Damme, Arnie and so on are all good Action heroes Big Grin
