jimbow8 Wrote:Kenji, you don't give yourself nearly enough credit. You have better grammar (written, I can't say about speaking) than many Americans do. You have also improved IMMENSELY in the few years that you have been on this board. You have MUCH better grammar and are MUCH more easily understandable than you were a few years ago. Just the mere fact that you know and can understand another language is quite an accomplishment. Don't belittle that accomplishment just because you are still learning some things and not an "expert." I, personally, am extremely impressed.

Thanks, Jim. But I still need learn many words.

Anyway I'm enjoying "Harbingers" for now.Smile

I was just bugging you with the "described"/"inscribed" comment. Even I have noticed an improvement in your grammar in the short time I've been here. English and French have some similarities, but English and Japanese! Wow. Not even the same alphabet. Keep up the good work. You're only going to get better.

"Oh, and like you've never had a cranky day?"

Now I reached 104 pages. Now I don't need dictionary at this point.

Glad you're enjoying it Kenji! I don't think you're crazy for reading all night. I still haven't been able to start Harbingers--hopefully soon (once Jaybird gets done reading it!!)... can't wait!! Smile

Well, when you get to it, let me know what you think. If you think it would be better used to level your wobbly table than to read, let me know. Thanks for humoring me.

:p A good horror story will keep you up at night
