My VCR and TV are also Sony but more important, they work with NTSC format so there would be no need to convert to PAL.
If you (or should that be Dan Wink) decide to go as far as making DVD copies, my (Sony) player is region free and can play NTSC discs as well.

I can work a computer, juggle all sorts of medical equipment, monitors, sensors, and probes. Just don't ask me to program the VCR, Hubby has to do that. But I'm the only one to set the clock on the VCR! Smile
