Bummer. I enjoyed many of his roles.

R.I.P. Nice Guy Eddie
(Reservoir Dogs)

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

When I first saw him in the movie, that was "Footloose".

I was sorry to hear about this, too. I enjoyed his work.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

Same here Kenji. That cowboy couldn't dance! At least not until later in the movie! I'll echo the R.I.P.

That's a bummer. I also thought he was a very good character actor. Check him out in Cement, a good piece of modern noir, for one of his few leading roles.

The only movie I ever saw him in was PALE RIDER.

I loved that one, and yes it does suck.

I was suprised to see all the roles he was in I didn't know about after reading that link. Grand Theft Auto, I guess he did a lot of voices in the game, that is pretty cool.

Nice Guy Eddie RIP.

Is he related to Sean Penn?

He was Sean's brother. Add Michael, their youngest bro, and you've got quite the talented family.
