Have you read any of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series? Ranger and Morelli are two of the hotest dudes around.

I've never read Janet Evanovich. What kind of books are they? Murder mystery?

So... anyone else think the first season was better then the second?

I watched most of them over again and just think that the first season was more solid all the way through.

Thoughts?

I'm enjoying the second season more. Too much speculation the first season for me, I want answers. True some of them are wacky answers, but I keep tuned in.

Yeah, I liked some of the key plot points. I kind of miss the weird 'monster on the island' aspect of the show which was stressed more in the first season.

And I must say, some of the new cast got on my nerves a bit. The guy who says 'brother' every other word, and of course Ana Lucia.

The show still is great though Smile

Oh, Medusa. Let me tell you a little story....

A friend of mine bought me the first novel in the Stephanie Plum Series (don't buy any other series) and I've been hooked ever since. Every woman I've recommended this series to, has gone totally bonkers over it. I got Lisa on it, then she got her mom on it. I got Maggers on it too.

She's a fantastic writer and the stories are engaging, funny, and sexy. Start with One for the Money and begin your obsession with Stephanie Plum! Then you can answer the ultimate question: "Are you a Morelli or a Ranger girl?"

The genre? Detective, comedy, and romance all rolled into one.

Trust me, you'll totally love this series!

And I also got my friend (also named Lisa) hooked on it, then together we hooked yet another dance mom at our daughters' studio. Feel the Plumosity!

They are the funniest books I've ever read. They will delight you. Read them, read them all, as fast as you can. I think you will love them.

Check out that thread. It'll tell you about Evanovich.

Lisa and Susan are so right. I've gotten my best friend into Stephanie, and she turned on her husband...to the books, I mean. You just can't help but want to share the incredible experience of Stephanie Plum.

Plumosity, indeed.

I recommend pleasant.

I've seen the first season twice. I am catching up with the second season. I watch the episodes at least 3 times each. I've seen the last 4 episodes of the second season in real time, so I know what's coming. I will buy the second season on DVD as I did the first.

I don't see the show in terms of seasons because I didn't follow it that way. To me it's a seamless whole. It's a FABULOUS series. PS Period.

I would like to see more of the monster, but we did get to see a great deal of it in the episode "Psalm 23" with the amazing Mr. Eko. Again I say, be still my heart.

Yeah, Mr. Eko was the best 'new' character IMO.

Maggers, Susan & Lisa!

I won the first 11 Stephanie Plum books on Ebay! So I'll be starting the series pretty soon. Then I'll know who Ranger and Morelli are!

I really wanted the actual books but the price on the Ebooks was so good I couldn't pass it up. Gotta save money since the hubby blew out his shoulder a couple of months ago. He has surgery next Thursday.
