Seriously, I know Rice has her fans, but I'm just not one of them. I struggled through Interview With the Vampire (and in fairness, I really liked the movie version, which was scripted by Rice herself), but I tried to get through Lestat at least twice and gave up out of sheer boredom each time around halfway through. I doubt I'll ever bother trying to read any of her work again. I just don't have the tenacity. But that's just me.
