Who is/was the best classic horror movie actor?

Note: By "Classic" I mean those known to those who, like me, are "Too old to rock 'n' roll; too young to die". Smile

My favorite character actor is Dwight Frye (the hunchbacks in Frankenstein and Bride of F, and Renfield in Dracula). Who else could sell a line like, "Flies? Why should I eat flies when I can have big, juicy Spiders."

I was thinking about him but couldn't remember his name. Maybe I should add him to the poll?

Never mind. I see some votes have been cast already, but I will accept "write-ins".
