I donated a copy of the Gauntlet THA (signed it a 2nd time) to the Charles Grant benefit auction (he's got COPD and is in bad shape; probably will never write again). I checked to see how it was going this AM and it's up to $125+. Yow. I'm shocked. I figured $70-75 tops.

Isn't THA one of the titles that's no longer available (sold out) on Gauntlet's web site? Besides, people who appreciate Charles Grant's work are probably willing to put a premium on the book for a good cause. I'm not surprised. I think it's great that you, Dean, and others in the field are joining in this effort.
