No apology necessary. It's not a matter of rules. It just makes following the discussion a little easier.

On this board there are virtually no rules, except no ad hominem attacks.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

Thats what you think, punk! Smile

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

I finished reading Midnight Mass this weekend. I loved it! Couldn't put it down.

Nice to see vampires that are truly bad ass.

Writing was terrific, the characters were amazing and the ending was very unexpected!

Another great FPW read!

Well now, Susan, I think that was Paul's intention. Vampires are =not= pale, misunderstood aesthetes who write romantic poetry in their spare time. They are =monsters= who must be defeated. Though these days, you'd probably get a couple of Democrat congresscritters to plead their case on the floor of the House.

Now that was funny. In today's Armerica, the vampires would be represented by the ACLU. They would have civil rights. They couldn't be deported back to their home country. We would have to hold their trials at night or with blackout curtains on the walls so they could get fair trials. If they couldn't get blood on their own, they could apply for Medicaid and go to the emergency room for emergency rations.

Today's America.
