Im not much into Vampire novels. At the same time, I still find myself wanting to get Midnight Mass just because its a FPW novel. Since Im not a vamp fan is it worth reading?

A resounding HELL YES! It is one of his best books, IMO.

I'll be surprised if it takes you more than a couple of days for you to read; it hits the ground running and then accelerates.

I loved Midnight Mass, and I'm not a vamp fan at all. Also, check out Vampire$ by John Steakley. There are a bunch of similarities between the two (which is a good thing).

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Okay. Iwent by the bookstore this weekend and picked up Midnight Mass. The only problems I have is I have to finish reading Implant first, and I am going to pick up The Keep #1 on wednesday. This is to much pressure. What am I to do ? I wonder, When I cant take any more and I crack-up completely will they allow me to take my FPW books to the funny farm with me?

What's the big deal, Jaybird? You got MIDNIGHT MASS, IMPLANT, and THE KEEP. You got three eyes, right? Gotta keep 'em all occupied! As far as the funny farm goes, don't worry. Last time I was in, Jack busted me out.

Cool!!! Ill go outside and wait for them. How long did you have to wait to get sprung? Did jack have to hack into the building or did he use one of his fake IDs?

Now I know what you mean when you said"Life is so much better with Jack in it". Or was that the other Jack you were talking about?
