This thread is not based in reality. That said, if you could make a movie, any movie, any genre, any plot, and put your favorite actors in it, who would they be? They may or may not work well together in real life. Who cares. This is a place for you to cast your favorite actors all in one film. Feel free to cast the dead, too.

In no particular order:
Christian Bale
Christopher Walken
Marlene Dietrich
Willem DaFoe
Parker Posey
Ian McShane
Morgan Freeman
Toni Colette
Kevin Spacey
Madeliene Stowe
Daniel Day Lewis
Gene Hackman
Ryan Reynolds
Benecio Del Toro
Dan Hedaya
Ray Winstone
Bill Paxton
Young Bette Davis
Will Farrell (in a small hysterical cameo)
Harry Shearer
Kate Winslet
Christopher Guest
Gabriel Byrne
Miranda Richardson
Ben Kingsley
Meryl Streep
Ricky Gervais

There are more, but I'll stop for now.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

I was channel surfing this last Saturday night and stopped on Saturday night live that was a rerun. It was with Will Farrell hosting and Queens of The Stone Age as the musical guest. Most of what I saw was really bad and not really that funny BUT, during one of the musical numbers by Queens of the Stone Age Will Farrell came out on stage dressed as this kind of gooffy 1970s cool rock guy with a big white boy afro and aviator glasses and bell bottoms. He had a percussion block and played with the band, they were all totally serious and Farrell was doing this hip thrusting dance while playing. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I laughed until I cried, then laughed some more.

Maggers, you forgot your boy, Matthew McConaughey.

I saw a trailer for his new movie Two For The Money, with him being his buff self. You'll like it. Wink

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

I could make a great cheap budgit movie, with just two charecters.

Gene Wilder and Richord Pryor!

But if I needed more of a roster, well...................

I would also have Leslie Nealson in their for comic relief!
Maybe Jackie Chan to finish the fights these guys start!
I would also need Ringo Starr to run away from the dinosaur in the movie!
And Courtney Cox for the gratoatous(?) tit shot ( I just watched The longest yard and she has em now!)(Sorry I'm a guy)
Richard Dryfuss would be the President of the U.S. and he would make Cuban cigars legal!
Keanue Reeves would have a cameo as someone who is trying to catch a bus!
And probabaly Val Kilmer as the drunk cowboy dieing of something!
And Moe, Larry and Curly as the bad guys!

I would also have Quenten Tarrentino direct it!

This will be set in Haiti!

My list for females is considerably shorter as I feel as though there are far fewer quality roles for women. That said I usually enjoy performances from Robin Wright-Penn, Diane Wiest, Anjelica Huston, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn(and if Dave reads this, Creepers by David Morrell has an interesting take on Holly Golightly), Winona Ryder, Kate Blanchett, Julia Stiles, Uma Thurman, Robin Tunney, Jessica Lange, and then the mind goes blank (not soon enough for many of you , I'm sure).
