But how many people (those here excluded, of course) will know that it means someone/something that presages or foreshadows what is to come?
The sales department might have a problem with that.
Same with AUGURIES or DIVINATIONS.
But keep 'em coming.

Wait... that's not what I was going to say. Oh yeah... There were Get Smart books??!? I loved that show. Anyone know if/when the whole series might be coming out on DVD? That's a must-purchase.

Rakosh Wrote:Just for the record...I'm part of the sales dept for Holtzbrinck Pub (Sales Rep, actually) and I think Harbingers is the best of the suggestions so far.
And, yes, I know what it means. In fact, it would be a title I could get behind and fight for if it came to that at sales conference! Most of the other reps and people at Tor/Forge know I'm a big RJ fan, so I would hope that would sway any nay-sayers. It does fit well with the titles of the previous books as you say, and I agree with Dave that I think it's a well-enough known word that the general public wouldn't be confused. Regardless...this is all just my two-cents worth...
(And yes, I've been lurking for a couple years now without spoiling the sanctity of the forum...I just can't believe the username "Rakosh" wasn't taken already!)
