Let's run with the concept of looking at the vast landscape of possibility and probability. Warning -- some suggestions will be obscure:
  • Æther (or Ætheric Visions)
  • Oracle
  • Sibylline
  • Pythian
Given what I've parsed of the stories, and where I think things might be going (hey now, I'm pretty good at spotting patterns), I'm thinking that Pythian is the best of my suggestions. Pythia was the title for the high priestess at the temple in Delphi. According to legend, the temple was originally dedicated to Gaea, until Apollo arrived and killed the guardian, thus claiming it for his own.

Confused? Re-read Crisscross. If I'm right, I refuse to spoil it for you.

I like HARBINGERS. It's a good fit.

But how many people (those here excluded, of course) will know that it means someone/something that presages or foreshadows what is to come?

The sales department might have a problem with that.

Same with AUGURIES or DIVINATIONS.

But keep 'em coming.

Isn't "Harbinger of Doom" regular in the public consciousness, like "going postal"?

Or is that just me?
