stacyzinda123 Wrote:Welcome back, Susan. Congrats on your new country home. My husband and I recently moved to a small town and the "country life" in Wisconsin. We enjoy it too. I wasn't sure if I would, being more of a city girl, but it's nice. Now, we want pictures of the kitten!! Our neighbors brought a black lab puppy home last night. She's only 7 weeks old and so cute! I haven't gone over there yet to see how the first night went. She was whining around a lot when we stopped over yesterday afternoon.

Congratulations on your new home too!

Here is my new precious kitty, Lupe.

As you can tell, she's really little and my dog is really big! But they love each other!

I recommend pleasant.

Thanks! She's adorable. Big ears and bright eyes. I'm sure you'll have fun with her.

Now, I haven't been on in a while (and apparently neither has Susan, welcome back to us both!) but exactly where, and in what section, did Ferrets pop up? I mean I tell people this board caters for multi-interests but FERRETS for Gods sake! How does that work?

Oh, Susan, love the kitten. Anyone who says money can't buy happiness has never had a kitten or puppy. Or, alternatively, is a sad bugger who should not be dealt with!

Peter,
Check out that thread and you'll eventually read about the ferrets. Big Grin

Geesh, you adopted a flying fox bat. You remember bats don't you Susan? The creatures at Animal Kingdom who suck on their tails.

It's simply a matter of attracting new members with a little class to the board. Cool Big Grin

(Well, not entirely new. I have a couple of posts on the old board, hidden in the archives. Come to think of it, there might be a small mention of the little sofa snakes there, too, in a discussion of boxers vs. briefs. But, it's best not to dwell on it. Wink)

ROTFL! OMG I almost forgot about that.

I miss you guys. I think you should all come to the Alabama mountains to visit this fall. We can play banjos and drink Apple Jack. It would be wicked fun! I need my GUer fix!
