My kids are far too angelic for the role, but perhaps some of you have candidates?

Why the "hell" do we need a remake of The Omen?!?!? That movie kicks ass! (2 and 3 not so much) Pretty soon they'll be remaking Halloween. AARRGGHH!!

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

...and then the ultimate slap in the face, they will remake The Keep. That will completely piss me off. The Keep was the greatest horror film of all time. It had the scariest fog machine since...The Fog!!!!

Well, Jim, I couldn't agree more! The Omen was a true classic that never needs to be remade.

I agree! The Omen is one of the best 70s horror movies. It doesn't need remake. Never!!!

Now, I think Hollywood hasn't any new idea, especially for horror movie. Almost they remake it, or only change the past movie's concept...

Hollywood's been making endless sequels the past few years. They even bother to make sequels to movies that weren't even that good in the first place (Whole Nine Yards for example). Or they resort to making cheap remakes and then sequels to those remakes (Dr. Dolittle).

Back to the subject of The Omen. I hate the remake idea. I love the original and feel it's a unique film with a nice performance by Gregory Peck and it just can't be duplicated.

I didn't HATE "The Keep," and I really like "The Fog." So Jim, I'm with you on this one.

I recommend pleasant.

Kind of funny that you would bring the Fog up in this string. Did you know that Carpenter is remaking the Fog?

I am so sick of freaking remakes.....
