At last I watched it on rental DVD. Japanese title was "えじき(Victims)", not "Dead birds". So at first, I didn't notice it was "Dead birds"....

Not bad. Storyline was good. It gave me sometimes jumps. Creepy and weird. But synthetically I can't say "nice" or "good". I thought something lacking in this movie. It's "power". Power was what was absent from this movie. I wished it's like a "Evil Dead II", more aggressive.

Last scene was decent.

I purchased this move back when it was first released. Not my best investment. It was a very ambitious film, thats about all I can say. Not too bad for the crews first shot at film making.

I give low-budget direct to video films a big break, but that ending was much too weak. I did dig the little boy under the bed, though.
