The Lost World disappointed me. But book was good.

Kathleen Kennedy a producer of the Jurassic Park movies talked to SCI FI Wire about Jurassic Park 4, where she revealed that the first draft of the script has been completed by novelist William Monahan,
She also says that the movie will no longer be on an island like the previous movies. "Let's just say it takes place someplace else," she said. "It will not be green. We will not go back to the jungle."
There is no director currently attached to the project. Steven Spielberg and Kennedy will act as producers, with plans for a 2005 release.

We remain fascinated by dinosaurs and people who play God. If not Jurassic Park IV, then some other similar movie soon will surface, and we'll happily shell out money to see the familar plot just for the scary parts and great F/X. There is a sucker born, but probably a lot more often than just every minute, and that sucker also is us.
As long as the film introduces new dinosaurs brings in lots of supporting human cast members to be eaten by the dinos and devises new sequences of mayhem, I'm so there.

Yeah, well, of course I like dinosaurs. But I don't understand why they need to make "dinosaurs movie" = "Jurassic Park". Jurassic Park is Michael Crichton's idea, not Spielberg. If Crichton doesn't write a "Jurassic Park IV", Spielberg shouldn't make the movie. That's IMHO.
