KRW Wrote:Bill Paxton has been around forever. He was in "Alien" and "Terminator"! Watch close! What did ya think about "Twister"?

KRW
Actually he was in Aliens (2) and Predator 2. Also in Weird Science and The Lords of Discipline. But to me, he will always be Severen from Near Dark (a part which he got because of ALIENS).

....oh, and I didn't care much for Twister.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

I'm crazy about Bill Paxton. One of my favorites of his is "One False Move" -- written by Billy Bob Thornton, BTW.

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I'll check that out, thanx.

Ever seen A Simple Plan?

Oh yeah, OFM is excellent and Billy Bob also plays a great villian in it. Another lesser known Paxton film I dug was Traveller where he is a gypsy-like con man. Mark Wahlberg and Julianna Margulies co-star. And even though he only has a cameo, his role in The Last Supper is a stunner. TLS is a twisted piece of work for those of into that kind of thing..I know you're out there.

I haven't seen Traveller, but The Last Supper is an odd little gem for those that like that kinda thing. Big Grin

LMAO "I'm naval lint!! I gotta little (bleep). It's pathetic." The comic-relief/weasel I was talking about. One of my favorite movies.
