I actually found FPW's main website first, while I was searching for new books and new authors. So I haven't read any of these yet, but I can tell already they're exactly what I like to read. After bouncing around the main website, I clicked over to the forums and have spent a good hour reading around!

I just can't believe I've never heard of this set before! At any rate, I thought I'd post up even tho I haven't read any of the RJ novels yet. I'll take care of that shortly! LOL

I'm Lisa, married to a military guy with two kids... we're all avid readers and movie watchers. I live in South Carolina currently w/ the kids, but my husband has orders to Hawaii, so we're preparing to move there within the next 8 weeks!

Welcome to the board, Lisa. Get out and read some FPW books ASAP! You won't be disappointed.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.
~ Howard Phillips Lovecraft

Welcome! This board is an experience you'll enjoy, almost as much as Paul's books.

Welcome, Lisa!

My brother was stationed in Maui for a while. I'm jealous!

Hey Lisa, welcome aboard! This is a great place to hang out and chat about all sorts of things.

FPW's books are the best in the whole wide world. I feel as though we're all in on a great secret and very lucky to have discovered The Man. For instance, this afternoon I was at the B&N bookstore on Lexington and 86th Street in NYC. They had nary an FPW book and the staff had never heard of him! Harumph! How dare they not know our hero!

You have a world of fun awaiting you with all those FPW books to catch up on! Enjoy!

And moving to Hawaii! You lucky girl!

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
