Hi everyone.

A couple of friends of mine have been talking about a series of books and a character they follow called Repairman Jack. I finally got my head outta my fourth point of contact to see what all the hub-bub was about, and man am I glad I did. Big Grin

I'm just starting ALL THE RAGE today, and I have already finished THE TOMB, LEGACIES, and CONSPIRACIES.

I love the twist of the fantastic in Paul's, (does F. Paul go by "Paul" for short?), books. Once I finish the series of outright RJ novels, I'm then going to tackle the ADVERSARY CYCLE and complete it.

A little bit about myself, I'm a struggleing comicbook writer. I've self published a couple of comics, and I've had a few comic short stories published in a few anthology comics. My latest story will be in an anthology comic called WESTERN TALES OF TERROR #4 which should be out sometime June.

At any rate, I'm a huge F. Paul Wilson and RJ fan now, and I'm glad I found this site to join other fans like myself.

Welcome to the board, Jon.

After you finish those books, I'm sure you'll also enjoy Paul's other works, everything from Medical Thriller to SciFi.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Welcome, JonHook. You've found a wonderful place to hang out, and you've found yourself an extraordinary author.

If you meet F. Paul Wilson, he goes by Paul. On the board, we refer to him as FPW, Effy, Paul, Dr. Wilson, and, of course, The Man.

It's The Man's birthday today, so you are signing on for the first time on an auspicious day.

You're in for a great ride with the Adversary Cycle. Enjoy!

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Welcome to the board. Sounds to me like you're making some good decissions in your spare time. But watch out, ATR is gonna make you "make" spare time, if you know what I mean. Big Grin I'll be on the look out for your comics, your Western Tales sounds right up my alley! Where can I find them at?

I think you'll find the air a bit more refreshing here. Welcome aboard and much luck with your comics career. Gotta website we can visit?

You've mentioned your love of westerns on many occasions; have you ever read Ed Gorman? Outside of L'Amour, he is my favorite. Here is a link to his Westerns page...http://www.edgorman.com/westernnovels.html.

He is an extremely prolific and versatile writer. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've read by him. Plus I just found out that he is also known as Daniel Ransom, so he wrote a great little science fiction book called The Fugitive Stars.

I love Haiku ever since I got an idea several years ago to write The Lost Haikus of Nostrodamus which would leave no room for blurry interpretation like the quatrains.

They went something like this:

Motorcade proceeds
November day in Dallas
Kennedy is shot!

Now that would be a prediction, unlike "The Lion attacks the Swan" gibberish

Maggers has started something that has taken on a life of its own, 1700+ posts.

Stop by again.

Please!
