Has anyone on the board seen this? I was quite surprised. It starts off fresh and witty with some humor and clever scenes but turns the way of cliche at the end. Overall it was a fun ride and I would be curious to see what others who have seen it thought.

You summed up my feelings about it quite nicely. By the time David Arquette arrived, it was losing steam. Worth seeing for sure.

I just watched it. It seems like they weren't sure what they wanted to do. Did they want a drama? Horror? Comedy? It was just sort of blah for me... boring. Also, this movie really should have been titled "Riding the Bullet Or How to Kill Woodland Animals With Vehicles While Hitchhiking The Wrong Way".

Yes. Today I saw it in theater.

My thought is....first 30 minutes were boring! It was frog's tail.(i.e., it was needless.)

But, once he started hitchhike, the movie totally changed. Especially, when David Arquette appeared to the screen, I thought "Oh! I feel something happen". Well, I already read the book, so I knew him.

I liked that epilogue. Good ending. Smile

This movie is drama and horror and comedy. Your point of view is correct. Wink

That's good one! Big Grin
