Producers offer Daniel Craig a 3-film Bond deal.

I've never heard of this guy before. Maybe that is a good thing.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Who's Daniel Craig? Is everyone already tired of Pierce Brosnan?

He played Paul Newman's skanky, no good son in "Road to Perdition." I absolutely do not see him as Bond, James Bond. No way. He's sneaky looking and not someone I'd want to rely on in a pinch.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

Is it just me, or does he have a bit of that '60s George Lazenby look?

I'm not tired of Brosnan as much as I am of the terribly, horribly awfully bad scripts.

Ian Fleming was tired of them before they came out with a second Bond film. Don't worry about it. *grin*

Until I see something officially from SONY/MGM regarding who has been cast, its all speculation much in the same way as we are trying to figure out who will be cast as Jack.

Craig doesn't seem suave or debonair enough to pull off the tuxeo-ed spy but hey he's a lot cheaper than Connery or Brosnan .....

Yuck. That guys does nothing for me. Julian McMahon would have been SOOOOOOOO much better, but he turned them down. Too busy doing other things. Oh well.
