Not having a reflection, how......did....Glaeken...................Shave?

The first safety razor was patented by KIng Gillette in the early 1900's. That means Glaeken would have used a straight razor for several centuries. If he cut himself, how did he apply the styptic? I cannot imagine he had the time or inclination to get the sword blade out every morning to regenerate the damaged tissue.

Keith the Elder Wrote:Glaeken and Rasalom lost their reflections when they became champions for the opposing forces. That's why G took down the mirror at the Inn in the Dinu Pass.
He gets it back after defeating Rasalom at the KEEP. It was explained in Glaeken's conversation with Magda.

Biggles Wrote:I forgot all about that, but then I haven't re-read The Keep lately. I'll have to pick up my copy of the signed, limited, super-rare Keep Prequel and look it over.
KRW Wrote:It's been awhile since I've read "The Keep" also. I remember this in the movie, but not the book. Was this a product of Mr. Mann, or the infamous Mr. Wilson?
Ken Valentine Wrote:Keith had it right. Glaeken took the mirror down in his room at the Inn.
I don't remember the movie.
