The Yes Men is an amusing documentary of a couple of pranksters impersonating representatives from the World Trade Organization. They try their best to get caught, but are consistently seen as the real deal and their antics taken at face value.

I remember hearing about this a while back, but I didn't quite understand their purpose. Is this a comedy or serious documentary? Are these two guys trying to make a point or just doing it for fun?

Jim (who has added this to Netflix Queue)

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

The website addresses their agenda better than I will be able to, but they are attempting to raise the consciousness about what they consider to be a hypocritical organization. So it is a serious documentary about two guys who go to outrageous lengths to make their point. I found it amazing that NO ONE questioned their suggestions despite the fact that they were in direct contradiction to the goals of the group they were supposedly representing. To summarize, they were having fun while making a point.
