Don't think so. By the looks of how many books he has sold in the past...

Prolly buys them knowing they will be worth more shortly, then sells them on eBay with a reserve to make sure he at least makes back his money.

Nah, I just need money. I unwisely quit my job in disgust last week and replacing it has been harder than I thought. The damn Irish temper got the best of me again Big Grin. Just so you all know, I saved the Wilson stuff for last. I'll rebuild the collection when I'm flush. I'll never get another lettered Sibs though. That was a tough one to find.

BTW I was hoping the board wouldn't catch on but that damn Biggles has got some keen eyes. Smile

Not keen eyes, just have several F. Paul Wilson searches saved! Sorry about your temporary difficulties. Maybe by publicizing your auction I helped you get a better price for the items? I have a numbered Sibs already, or I might have bid myself.

BTW, what I REALLY need to fill in my collection is the Gauntlet edition of The Haunted Air. Anyone out there with an extra?

I my be a junior member of this board, but I'm no less enthusiastic about the about the RJ or Adversary stories. I'll do what I can to help your temporary situation. I've got bids in on three of the books.

Thanks Sll, and welcome to the board. Always glad to meet someone willing to bid up my auctions to ridiculously unheard of prices! Wink

And Daddy Warbucks and Uncle Scrooge McDuck got into a bidding war. The economies of several largely-unknown Eastern European republics trembled...
