I'll be really happy when I get a bit part as ... something. Big Grin Just kidding, just kidding. But it would be a blast to be an extra on the RJ film.

I thought the movie was being filmed in China (or something like that) If it's actually in N.Y., I'd find a way to be an extra. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my 15 minutes of fame.Smile

Still? Wasn't that a whole different script and different production people?

It's probably cheaper to film in the Hong Kong studio than to film in downtown New York. Hey they send a lot of other jobs overseas....Big Grin

Or New York has priced itself out of the market. Which is probably why so many films are made in Canada as well.

Filming in the U.S. has become too expensive, along with too much Bureaucratic Shuffle.

I quit reading this thread ages ago and didn't realize there was any new activity on the Repairman Jack movie.

Just for grins and giggles, I looked up Repairman Jack on the web and this is the synopsis of the movie, as provided by Hollywood.com: "A charasmatic NYC repairman battles evil forces to protect an innocent girl."

I thought that was funny.
