Gee whiz, I don't think anyone is banned from this Board unless they are "leny" or "achiever" or some other lousy spammer.

I'd love to see Sublime come back.

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I think SUBLIME should come back as well, and I don't think he should give a rat's ass about who he offended or why.

What is this board anyway? A Politically Correct Love Fest where everyone has to agree and kiss ass so they can feel welcome by the elitist parthenon governing all posts? GOD NO! It's a forum where everyone should feel they can speak their mind without being ostracized for offending some poor sap on the other end of the wire.

OK - I admit it, slips of the tongue (or fingers) can happen, and feelings can get hurt, but folks, this case was RIDICULOUS.

COME BACK SUBLIME! DON'T LET ANYONE PUSH YOU AROUND...

For the record, Sublime and I PM'd early on in the discussion on this thread. We spoke about things, shared ideas, shook hands and made peace. I'd love to see him again.

I have obviously missed a lot on this thread! One observation I would make is that any time one communicates in writing it's far more difficult to REALLY understand the tone of what is being said. So much of communication is visual, which is lost when one communicates by telephone. Think about the times you've been misunderstood over the phone! Now take away the communicative aspects of the voice, and limit yourself to the written word. Posting on a bulletin board is always going to lead to occasional misunderstandings.

I encourage anyone who feels bad about the perceived tone of a post to PM the poster and find out what they truly meant before assuming any mean intent. After all, as Jack Nicholson said in "Mars Attacks" (before he was whacked by a Martian): "Can't we all just get along?"

This thread, read from beginning to end, will make your head spin. Truly dramatic, gut wrenching, heart breaking and just plain full of life with all its quirks and foibles. FABU!

Nobody is banned aside from our dear friend Leny. FPW wouldn't want people banned just for disagreeing.

P.S. Shouldn't this be a differant thread since you thought it was funny?

I just had to mention it here since I had called her 'not funny' earlier in the thread. I'm still not a big fan, but I did like that joke (for its corniness). Had to give credit where it is due.
