All Thumbs Wrote:Wow! What a terrific author. I stumbled upon "The Keep" a few months ago and I remembered seeing the Movie back in the 80's. The book was far better IMO. Of course I had to read more so I got "The Tomb" after getting onto Amazon.com and getting an idea of how the Adversary Cycle was laid out.
I then read "Legacies" and am currently working on "The Touch" and "Conspiracies". Personally I'm none too concerned about the order, I see cross-references popping up and I've read synopses of all the Adversary and RJ books so I have an idea where everything is leading. Hopefully I'll be able to round up the Short Stories as well. The books just get better and better and I can't wait to gobble up the rest!

Hope to chat with some of you knuckleheads soon!!!

Great to have you aboard, and looking forward to chatting. But with a nickname like "All Thumbs", you'll need to elaborate before I invite you to go to the range and "bust some caps". Big Grin

...You can call me if you have a problem and you need someone to make it worse. And if I used a gun I'd probably just shoot myself in the foot! I do, however, have a good singing voice.

I love that, All Thumbs. I'm with you, let's sing our troubles away! We all know that nothing will cut down a bad guy quicker than a poignant rendition of "Send in the Clowns, " or perhaps a stirring stanza from "Stayin' Alive." Big Grin

I recommend pleasant.

If Jack ever needs a sidekick, you'd be perfect. Think of the plot twists as you undid all of his careful planning.

Which would make Maggers rendition of "Stayin' Alive" the perfect background music for reading an RJ novel.

Welcome, All Thumbs. If dynamic thoughts performed with a good singing voice are your meat and ale, you've come to the right board, by gum!

Hey, we could form the Repairman Jack Choir, which would (maybe?) offset the Choir of Caos of "Demonsong" fame!

Though the Repairman Jack Choir sounds might wimpy. I know you guys can come up with something better, probably something hysterical. What do you suggest?
