Hello there FPW;
I've thoroughly enjoyed the books. Nearing the end now, only two to go. I hate to see it end!

I was wondering what sort of research you had to do or what inspired the Septimus Order. I've studied actual occult/fraternal groups for years, and I see the obvious parallels not only with Freemasonry but with other esoteric/occult orders, and the personalities involved. The OTO and Aleister Crowley come to mind, as well as symbols that reflect them and even older occult thought like John Dee. I loved the way you pulled from your sources (whatever they be) and put together such a formidable Order.

What were your main inspirations for this?

I pretty much winged it with the Order. I had them deal mostly with prime numbers, so I borrowed from Ameth for their 7-pointed sigil. http://hermetic.com/norton/sigilof.htm

Really good portrait you paint. Someone could almost think you had *inside* info.....haha.....but seriously having studied these things and associated thought for years, you do *such* a great job weaving your thread. I can't wait to finish these last two books. I tried really hard to avoid threads on here with spoilers, and so far so good. Thanks for some great reading!

A great Holiday Season to all.

Thanks FPW!
