Anyone else addicted to this show? I don't know if it's Jennifer Garner or the twisting plot lines.

Ok, it's Jennifer Garner. Wink

I'm in the twelve step program, but the third season just kicked off in the UK so my resolve is weakening Smile

It's not just Jennifer Garner. In addition to Jennifer Garner, it's also Jennifer Garner. I've been taping all the shows for the past 2 seasons in HD. And she looks, um, not bad in HD let me tell you. Big Grin

And the twisting plot lines are not bad either I guess.

I watched the first season, sort of fell out of it, and am now considering trying it again since I can't get into The Soppranos. Of course I'll have no clue as to what is happening but at least I'll be watching something other then the Science Channel. And Garner is cute. Of course, even she didn't help save Dare Devil which I finally watched last night. Down right terrible. Ugh. I think I'm going to vomit.

Been an ALIAS junkie since day one. Not just because of Jennifer Garner, though. Actually got my wife to watch it every week sometime during season 2.

The bad guys are some of the best. However, Quentin Tarentino's guest appearances continue to prove that he can't act.

ALIAS, like 24, requires a strong commitment and sometimes a strong heart.

Beauty is only skin deep.

I must say though that her skin looks really, really beautiful.

I disagree. I still think it's Jennifer Garner.
:p

I'm waiting for her mom (Lena Olin) to appear. She's such a good baddy.

Okay, Season 4 just started in the UK.

What the hell have they done with the opening credits? I loved the old credits; short, sharp, pumping music. Great intro.

Now, they've done something awful to the music and as much as I love Ms Garner, too much! I didn't notice the names appearing in the bottom corner the first episode I saw Big Grin .

Just a small gripe.

Talking of the first episode, is that really what Americans think our police cars look like? Maybe in the days of Z-Cars, but things have progressed.

PS Doctor Who is shaping up nicely, but no surprise someone of Eccleston's quality wouldn't want to get pidgeon holed.

I'm guessing that ALIAS will last no more than two more seasons. The main reason being that the plot lines are beginning to show more holes and there isn't any consistency. The last few episodes have been dealing more with the personal issues and backgrounds of the characters interwoven with a "bad-guys-have-some-new-world-threatening-technology-that-we-must-steal-back/first." The bad guys are getting more evil and the technology more destructive, but the bad guys are so darn stupid. And the world-threatening technology is worthless. Case-in-point: the DNA targeting weapon that is actually a remote-controlled helicopter with a built in tracking device. Couldn't the target just hide until the batteries died or it ran out of ammo and then swat the bug out of the air? What about the laser-enhancing lens that could make a presentation pointer powerful enough to take out a satellite? Why didn't the bad guys just start using it?

At least the Rambaldi device story line had legs. But, the writers cut those out from them.

ALIAS is still entertaining, but getting weaker each week.
