Looking forward to New Who Day tomorrow! Anyone else? Early theories about the new companion?

I just watched it last night.. the kind of writing I still watch that show for... some epis are 'meh', but this one was off the charts... as they said on LOST "We need to watch that again!" The Doctor is still sporting that Flock of Seagulls-esque hairdo but hey, he wouldn't be Who he is without those fashion quirks, among other things...

I tilt at windmills, you tilt at windmills, we tilt at windmills together.

quixotic - Caught up in the romance of noble deeds or unreachable ideals; romantic without regard to practicality.

I usually watch an episode 3-4 times total. Once "live", then again usually the next day. Plus a marathon before the half season finale. And if I'm bored, I'll watch the previous week's episode before a new one airs. Depends on how much detail I think I may have missed and how complicated the story gets.

i did enjoy this one. I think this new companion will be interesting, though if not done well might be very annoying.

And it wouldn't be The Doctor without the taudry quirks, I've heard he has enough to open his own taudry quirk shop :-)

Sweet! I knew he was writing another episode, wasn't sure when we would see it though.

Peter Capaldi is playing The Doctor and even though I know it won't be, I desperately want the show to be this:

I don't know much about Capaldi, but my good friend that is a HUGE Who fan is excited, so I'm thinking I'll probably like him after a few episodes. I didn't really get much from his appearance after regeneration, too short.

I did get to see the 3D theater event for the 50th anniversary, which I really enjoyed. The intro stuff was great. We had a lot of technical difficulties in our theater, so it was amusing to see how many people brought sonic screw drivers with them.
