I went to brunch with my boyfriend and some other friends. We wondered who comes up with the idea for some drinks. For example, the place offered some drink that is Jameson mixed with pickle juice. Who even tries that combination in the first place?? Oh, and if you need to wash down that beverage, you also get a Pabst Blue Ribbon with the order. I think it's one of the few times when I would assume that PBR would be the better of the two beverages.
Their bloody mary (which no one would order) was bloody mary mix, vodka, guiness, and pickle juice garnished with a deviled egg and salami. The rim of the glass is coated in crushed pork rinds.
Thanks to stupid liquor laws in Texas, we could not order hard liquor until noon. We could, however, booze it up with beer and wine before then. Who is the idiot that came up with these laws??
