I did like Q alot. I just didn't like that he seemed to get punked alot too.

I do remember seeing a Voy episose with Q (I think it was on the Q collection) where I think the Contiuum made him mortal or something and he got shot (old west setting?) and he and Janeway seemed to get rather close? Am I remembering it correctly? Anyway, I remember it being pretty good...for a Voy ep that is LOL

Yes he did seem to get the shaft, although I always got the impression he kind of liked that, in the sense that he was hoping humanity was better than the continuum was giving them credit for.

As for the episode, I think you may be mixing up a few. He gets made mortal in a TNG episode. The one where he and Janeway get kind of close is the "Q and the Grey". It tells of the aftermath of his letting the other Q die. As the name suggests, its Civil War era and he tries to convince Janeway to mate with him.

I liked when Abe Lincoln fought the Gorn and the Riddler painted black and white

Yeah, me too. I'm still on the TNG rewatch. Whats cool is in certain theaters they are releasing certain episodes for the blu-ray release of the seasons. So, sometime this spring Best of Both Worlds is supposed to be in theaters.

I don't remember Lincoln fighting the Gorn, but I do remember the Riddler episode. As an aside, i thought his laugh was more Jokerish, than Romero's.

For TV I like the original series but for movies TNG were way better. Too bad Q never made it to one of the movies

I thought it was cool that Kirk admired Lincoln...so that's who was chosen to manifest.

Wasn't that was the one from TOS with the warring factions...half black and white....but on opposite sides of the body?

Yeah they've been doing an episode or two from each season that has an impending blu-ray release. They did Measure of Man before which would have been good to see. The problem is they're only in select cities aka larger cities, which is not where I am.

You're not a fan of form fitting Riddler costumes? jk

A Q based TNG movie would have been awesome.

Yeah thats the one cobalt, they hate each other because one is black on the right and the other is white on the right.
