if so, I must be losing it. I haven't read either since 2001. That's my excuse, along with the aspartame.

Is it possible the situation is described in both? Keep in mind, many years passed between the publishing of The Tomb and the publishing of Legacies.

At the time Legacies came out, The Tomb was not readily available for many readers so Paul may have given the back story in Legacies as well.

i don't remember though...I should do some brain exercises.

It's possible but I don't think it was brought up again until later in the series and of course its referred to plenty in Cold City and if it is in Legacies it was more of a mention than the detailed account from The Tomb.

Has anyone here read Legacies recently? I haven't read it since it came out. If anyone is lurking and can verify this...please feel free to chime in. I don't trust this Scott Miller guy. Rolleyes

I'm ashamed of some of you! The episode you're talking about was definitely in The Tomb and I don't remember it being in Legacies at all.

And Scott's OK, trust him!

And, OK, yes, I was lurking............Smile

Well, I've never seen one do THAT before

The scene in question, with Jack's revenge for the cinderblock being dropped and killing his mother was in The Tomb. I haven't read Legacies in a few years, but I don't think it was in there.

FINE! I have learned that when a British person says something it may not be true, but it seems that way because of the cute accent. Unless you are from Leeds, that accent is horrendous.

Now, I am okay admitting when I am wrong. It may well have been mentioned in The Tomb but the detailed description of the revenge is in another book(maybe it is in a couple books, but it seems that there is mention of it in The Tomb but detailed story of it, how he caught the guy in another book...). I am as certain as someone who has had multiple concussions can be.

Perhaps in Gateways as part of his backstory with his father? It's all kind of blurring together for me as well, so I can't really be sure about where I read the most detailed account.
