WHAT THE FORK? A feature film? Maybe a lifetime movie or something. I've read these books and if this guy used the term OK any more often, he would have to pay taxes on it. Where's my Repairman Jack movie Hollywood? When are you going to start making awesome again?

Another bad thing about this movie is....Reacher is suppose to be 6'5". If Cruise is 5'5"...it's a stretch.

But I agree with one thing.... where's the RJ movie?

Reacher was good. I don't like Cruise, but, as usual, he wasn't bad.

Reacher books sell a lot if copies, that's why the film.

I also go on the Jack Reacher forum and its been a huge debate since Tom Cruise got the part. I've read every Reacher book and I can't see TC in this part ever.

I saw the film last week--mediocre would be a kind word to describe it.

I heard the film makers changed the character's focus as well. Have you read the books? I'm curious about how they portray Reacher.

Hollywood's magic 5'5" is 6'5".

With the exception of the women, in the film, being taller than Tom Cruise, he is Jack Reacher. Another perfect example of why people shouldn't get so hung up on age for a Repairman Jack actor. Cruise is 50, but easily could be mistaken for 35 with the Hollywood Magic.

Wondered the same ... if you've got the bucks, you can buy your own roles ... can't visualize Cruise as Reacher.
