Tony H Wrote:Harry's Law was my favorite show for the past two seasons. Kathy Bates is amazing. The story arc they had where she went toe-to-toe with that crazy district attorney played by whats her face from Designing Women was some of the best writing I have seen on TV as well as some of the best acting.

I will miss that show, I hope they give Kathy Bates another shot at TV if she wants it.

I really liked Boston Legal when that was on and was sad when it got cancelled. I was actually surprised Harry's Law (which was excellent, by the way) last after its first season. Not to delve into politics, but when a smart show points out the faults of the extreme right its not bound to last. I'm surprised those involved in the show haven't been labeled unpatriotic. :p

Oh yeah! When it was on Mondays it had a huge audience. But on Sundays it was constantly getting bumped because of games. I had to manually change my DVR setting for Miami to tape for 2 hours because I never knew when it was actually going to start. Plus like you said Sunday nights weren't popular anyway.

CSI Miami getting bumbed for sports didn't bother me because it's also on demand. So I didn't have to record it. But the main problem on Sunday night was all the other shows on Sunday that ran. Like the mini-series on Discovery or PBS. Basically, it got killed by being moved to a very bad time slot. Shows don't do well normally at 10pm on Sunday.

Boston Legal wasn't cancelled. It ended. Big difference. Harry's Law was kind of silly in season one. But season two really picked up and was very good. I think the network should have given it one more shot but not on Sunday.

Actually it was cancelled but they were given enough time to wrap it up properly. Smile And I do agree moving it to Sunday was a bad mistake.
