I just finished reading The Touch and in the forward to "Dat-tey-vao" FPW says that events in Reborn lead to the Dat-tey-vao coming to the US. I can't recall what he is referring to. Can anyone help?

The Dat-tay-vao sensed the rebirth of Rasalom so travelled to the USA where it would be needed. I think it's mentioned at the end of The Touch (I have the older original version)

I know at the end of Rebirth, it mentions the Dat-Tay-Vao was beginning its trip to America. I'm not done with the RJ/Adversary series (halfway through Fatal Error), but it would seem to me the (re)birth of Rasalom was sensed and that's why Dat-Tay-Vao came to the USA.

I guess I missed the obvious with this one. Thanks!
