So I thought the new Smurf movie was the last thing I would want to see. Then I saw the preview on USA and found out NPH is one of the main humans. Now it actually looks like it might be entertaining. And that disturbs me in some way.

Anyone else hear anything about the movie?

I am not sure even NPH and Hank Azaria can save this train wreck.

Jason Lee couldn't save "The Chipmunks", same thing.

Not sure i'd spend whatever ungodly sum it would cost to see a movie in the theaters these days, but definitely would watch it on tv. Probably more entraining after a frost beverage too.

Maybe i'll get lucky and it will be playing in the airplane on a trip.

I was a huge Smurfs junkie as a kid. I don't go to the movies much, but I'll see this on Netflix when it inevitably lands on Instant Watch. I think I will be sad though if they smurf if up.
